In order to increase voter turnout, I am proposing a vote lottery. This would increase voter turnout and consequently likely reduce the frequency of elections and ultimately save money. Further, this lottery would help the Canadian economy by providing funds to businesses and people.

Canada Votes: Fact Check — Day Number One

All right, this is how it’s going to work: each time I find the opportunity to post, I’ll make sure each party receives the same number of comments, so as to avoid any type of unbalance among the parties. I’ll scower the party web sites and news sources basically looking for claims that each party makes, and then I’ll address them and see if we can unearth whether or not what they’re saying is valid. Wouldn’t you know it: we’re off to a federal election… again. I’ve long lamented at how few Canadians feel connected and pay attention to our country’s political process, and as such, I believe it is my responsibility to do my part. Now that an election is called, I’ll be conducting a fact check on all four major political parties within my riding.
